Help With Debt

Admitting that you have a debt problem is the first step to being able to rectify it, the second step is to get a financial assessment done and the third step is to look at the options available to you.

If your debts have become unmanageable and you’re looking at help with debt and to stave off a debt problem then a debt consolidation loan could be one option. Other options you should consider are:

Debt Management Plan
Individual Voluntary Arrangement or IVA
Debt Relief Order
Administration Order
Bankruptcy

Scottish Residents only:

Trust Deed
Sequestration
Debt Arrangement Scheme

It’s essentially a loan that is used to pay off your existing debts, leaving you with just one manageable affordable monthly payment.

If you’re having more serious difficulties with your debts and have missed payments to creditors, with no way to cover your monthly debts then a debt management plan may be a good option for you.

A debt advisor calculates your disposable income each; this amount is then put together into a single monthly payment which is distributed amongst your creditors. DFH will speak and negotiate with your creditors for you. You won’t have to attend any meetings or talk with your creditors.
