Yasmin – Assistant Manager, Client Support
Yasmin’s role is to ensure the highest possible standards of support to clients when they have queries or concerns regarding their Debt Solution. Yasmin has worked at DFH since 2006, with a background of over 5 years in Debt Management & Collections at Barclays Bank and Citibank.
We selected Yasmin to become part of our team when DFH first started, and she quickly rose from Client Service Support to Assistant Manager, and now co-manages a team of over 40 staff.

Helen – Manager, Welcome Team
With experience of over 5 years in Debt Management, Helen ensures that she and her staff deal with clients at the beginning of their application, making sure that all new client information on the plans is correct, and liaising with other departments to ensure that clients get the best possible service.
“I really enjoy my role; no client circumstances are the same therefore it can be very varied! In past employment I have often felt like a cog in a wheel, however I do not feel this way at DFH as everybody I work with – in my own departments and other departments – cares about the clients and are happy to muck in and work as a team.”
Melanie – Manager, Financial Specialist Department
Melanie has worked in IVA and Debt Recovery for over 6 years and came to DFH in November 2008. In this short time Melanie has assisted in developing the Financial Dept at DFH ensuring that there is a fully trained department dealing in all financial / legal debt matters to service existing and new clients.
“I believe DFH succeeds because all departments are not only extremely knowledgeable in their own areas of expertise, but also in knowing what other departments do. This makes it easier for everyone to communicate and work together. Knowing that you can help people on a daily basis proves very rewarding!”
Lisa - Training & Development Manager (Financial Specialist)
Lisa has over 5 years’ experience in customer relations and training, over 2 years in Financial Services as an IVA Coordinator & Personal Finance Manager and has worked at DFH since November 2008. Her role is primarily to train staff and to work towards new and more efficient processes for the business and roll out any new information and developments within the industry to keep staff knowledge fresh and current. Lisa also finds solutions for the severe aspects of clients’ financial problems.
“I deal with the severe aspects of peoples financial problems, and feel that through my extensive knowledge and experience I can help resolve these issues, to help make somebody else's life that little bit more stress free. As I am confident in my ability I now enjoy being able to provide others with the knowledge and training to be able to help clients they work for in this way.”
Anthony - Customer Services Team & Client Reviews Manager
Anthony has been at DFH for nearly 2 years, and has a total of 5 years industry experience. His department troubleshoots problems that clients may experience during their Debt Management Plan, including change of circumstances (such as the breakdown of a relationship, job loss, etc.). His team also advises clients of the solutions available to them and renegotiates plans with creditors, ensuring that the client’s journey throughout their plan works smoothly and efficiently.
“I have found it very rewarding doing what I do because, having been on the receiving end of aggressive creditors in the past, I take great pleasure in helping other people to overcome the stigma of debt. I always try to put the client’s minds at rest by explaining that, whilst things might be tight, as long as they are patient and stick to the plan, things will eventually get better. “I speak to many clients who are often very depressed due to their sudden change in circumstances, and I’ve been able to sort through their queries and solve their problem. I’ve found that having empathy for the client goes a long way to helping to get the client to open up and admit to their debt problem, which makes helping the client a lot easier and smoother.”
Sophie - Creditor Liaison Manager
With a background in Creditor Liaison, Sophie joined DFH at the beginning of 2008 to head the Creditor Liaison Department and manages a team of four. Her role is to build and maintain relationships with various creditors to ensure that existing and future clients can be offered the best possible service on their debt solution.
“I find my role very rewarding and I’m proud to be head of such a dedicated team. We are working hard to build relationships with creditors – old and new – so we can work toward finding solutions for people that are in need of debt help.”
